Aswell as my ceramics, I also make greeting cards with my photographs of scenery and places of interest in the Castlecove and Caherdaniel area. We have so many beautiful views and interesting buildings that have never featured before on cards, probably because many of them are relevant only to those with an intimate knowledge of the area.

As with the ceramics, the cards are made at home on my computer rather than in large print-runs, so levels of production are small, but it means that I can vary the images according to the season or changes in the landscape, and can do small batches of special requests for individual customers.

For the visitor to my site who is not yet familiar with this area of Ireland - I hope that these pictures convey some sense of the physical beauty and spiritual peace of my homeplace.

Of all the questions I have been asked over the years about my work, the most frequent concerns the source of my ongoing inspiration, and it is the only one I never adequately address! Possibly the answer is contained more on this page than on all those preceding it.
